Samsung Galaxy S20 (SM-G981U) Surfaced on Geekbench With Snapdragon 865 and a 12GB RAM

The Galaxy S series from Samsung housed all of the Korean OEMs best in class smartphones that came out for over a decade. With another year kickstarted the market is looking into details on their latest launch in this series. And finally, a reliable leak on this matter occurred. With the leak, the speculations on the biggest launch from Samsung this year is starting to build.

The leak is from the Geekbench listing. Seems like Samsung has reached the benchmarking giant to score their new flagship.  The device featured gets the build number SM-G981U and is said to the Samsung Galaxy S20 5G with Kona processor. The device gets 5G support and a few more specification has also come to light.

The main specifications known so far from the leak is the processor and RAM the device will be getting. As per the leak, the Galaxy S20 will get the latest Snapdragon 865. A super-powered Ram which is 12GB in capacity is also seen added to the device. However, it is always clear that an Exynos variant will also be made available.

The Geekbench score for the device is also impressive. The single-core score of the device is 568, while a 2539 score is given for multi-score. With this score which bypasses the best scoring Huawei MAte 30 Pro of 2019 Samsung is ready for a battle in the premium range. We should also take into account that the optimized device which will come out later this year will surely score better than this primary test. One thing is sure that the S20 will be a better performing device that all its predecessors.
