Verizon Galaxy S10 5G now getting July Security Update

Written by Daniel Carter

Verizon Galaxy S10 5G variant is now getting July update, the main highlight of the update is July security patch. Apart from a patch, there is some bugfix and system optimization. This update doesn’t carry a big changelog, only minor changes with July security patch is all that I can tell. However, normal Verizon Galaxy S10 also got a small update and this is the second time in this month.

Talking about Verizon Galaxy S10 5G variant, the update carries build number ASFG and the size of the update is around 200MB, so make sure to connect with a stable internet connection while downloading the update. Here is the screen of the update notification from Verizon Galaxy S10 5G.

However, the Verizon Galaxy S10 5G update page is not yet updated, if you open it you would see on System Update 1 with June security patch, maybe they would update it soon.

The update is currently rolling out via OTA(Over-the-air) and few Verizon Galaxy S10 5G units received the update notification. If you haven’t got the update notification then all you can do is wait for one more day, in the meantime, you can check the update manually as well by going to Settings >> About Phone >> System Update.

So, this was all for now, if you have received the update then do let us know the complete changelog of the update.
