Verizon Samsung Galaxy S10 is now getting a July Update in US

Written by Daniel Carter

Verizon is now rolling out July Update for their Galaxy S10 series and it is the first July update for Galaxy S10 and Verizon is the first one to roll out this in the US. If you remembered a few days back Verizon Galaxy S10 5G also received the July update and now its turn for the normal Galaxy S10/S10e/S10 Plus.

The main highlight of the update is obviously July security patch and apart from it there is nothing mentioned in the changelog, however, after reading the opinions of users, we figured out after update there is an improvement in the responsiveness in the fingerprint scanner.

The build number of the OTA update is ASGB and the size is around 300MB, it is advisable to connect your device with a stable internet connection at the time of downloading the update.

The update is currently rolling out via OTA(Over-the-air) and till now it already many Galaxy S10 series units but if you haven’t received the update notification then wait for a day or two or try checking manually by going to Settings >> About Phone >> System Update. If the update is there then go ahead and download it.

Now let’s hope other carriers to get this July update very soon, if there would be any information then I will definitely share it here. Do let us know what changes you have observed in your Verizon Galaxy S10 after this update.
