It is having internal storage of 64/128 GB which is quite big to store apps, games, photos, etc. And 2GB RAM which makes the device super fast. It also has an 8MP secondary camera which clicks amazing selfies and 16MP primary camera which also clicks some amazing shots.

1) Performance Issue in Vivo Y91

When we buy any Android smartphone then its first 5 months goes very smoothly but after then(in most of the case) the device starts behaving very slow and also the performance gets very low. Remove Battery:- Remove the battery of your device(if it is removable) and keep it aside for 2-3 minutes and then add it again. You’ll see the drastic change in the performance.

Uninstall unwanted applications:- It is always advisable to remove all those applications which you are not using. If you keep any unnecessary applications in your device then it will consume the storage as well as make your device very slow in terms of performance.

Remove cache memory:- You might don’t know but cache memory is one of the biggest reasons to make your device slower and you must delete it. You can remove cache memory either by going to Settings>Storage>Clear Cache Memory or you can download third party application like Nox Cleaner to remove all the junk files from your device.

Install Antivirus:- The another reason behind the low performance of your device might be because your device is infected by any virus and in order, to remove the virus you need to install any antivirus of your choice. You can try Avast Antivirus and do a complete scan of your device.

Perform a Hard Reset:- If your device is very old and even after removing the unwanted applications your device is slow then you can do a hard reset of your device but make sure to take a complete backup of your device before performing a hard reset. I am damn sure after a hard reset of your device, you will notice a big change in terms of performance in your device.

Check for the updates:- Do check for the firmware update if it is available. Sometimes what happens is old firmware has some bugs which make it slow, so, it is always advisable to keep your device firmware version up to date.

2) Heating Problem on your Vivo Y91

Don’t charge your device overnight:- The most common mistake which folks do is they charge their device overnight which results in an increase of your device’s temperature and in the worst case your device may explode too. So, always charge your device for 2-3 hours max.

Don’t play big games continuously:- You should never play very high in size games like Pubg continuously in your device. Mid-range smartphones like Vivo Y91 aren’t able to handle big games for too long, so, make sure to not play too long on your device.

Turn off Wifi and GPS:- If you are at some place where you can access Wi-Fi then always make sure to keep your mobile data and GPS settings off because they keep on running in the background can result in increased device’s temperature. You can also add your device to Airplane mode if you only want to use the internet by Wifi.

3) Poor Battery Life on Vivo Y91

Change your Wallpaper:- Never use live wallpaper in your device because eat hell lot of batteries. These live wallpapers keep running in the background which results in battery draining issue, it is always advisable to use any simple still live wallpaper.

4) Touchscreen Not Working Properly on Vivo Y91

Disable Power Saving option:- If power saving option is enabled then disable as it may be the reason for unresponsive touch screen.

Avoid Wet Hands:- Never use your device with wet hands because our smartphones are not allowed to work with wet hands. So, always dry off your hand first and then use your device.

Clean the dust:- Remove and clean all the dust from your smartphone’s display with a soft cloth. Rub the cloth gently on the smartphone screen for some seconds. You’ll definitely notice the change after cleaning.

Update the Firmware:- Check if there any firmware update available on your device. You can check it by going to the Settings>About Phone>System Update. Sometimes there are some bugs in old firmware and you can fix it by updating/install the latest update.

5) Bluetooth not connecting on your Vivo Y91

Switch off your device:- If you are facing Bluetooth not connecting issue then let your device switched off for few minutes and then restart it. Once, the device re-started go again to the Bluetooth setting and check if your device is now connecting or not. Hopefully, after restarting it, your device will connect.

Check the visibility:- Check if your device is visibility is on or not. If it is off then your device will not be shown to any other device and hence, you can not connect your device with Bluetooth.

Reset your device:- You might have screwed up android files and that’s why you are not able to connect with Bluetooth, in order to fix this issue, you have to factory reset your device but make sure to take the backup of your device because in factory reset all your apps and contact will be lost.

Scan your device:- There may be a high possibility of your device is being infected by any virus which is not letting your device to connect with Bluetooth. Anyway, you can use any antivirus i.e Avast to scan your device. After scanning remove the virus and restart your device and your problem will be gone.

6) Wifi Connection problem on Vivo Y91

Check your Modem:- Make sure your modem is working absolutely fine and check whether the WAN light is blinking or not. If it is not blinking then immediately contact your Internet Service Provider and get the issue resolved.

Restart your device:- Try to reboot your device and check if the problem is solved or not. Also, try to remove your battery from the back panel(if possible) and after 2-3 minutes connect it again. Now, your issue is fixed.

Forget the connection:- If you are able to connect with other Wi-Fi but not with the one you want to then you can try to forget the connection and after doing it reboot your device and now again try to connect with that network by entering the Wi-Fi password.

Airplane Mode:- Turn on the Airplane mode on your device for 2-3 minutes and after then turn off the Airplane Mode and now go to the settings>Wifi and now connect with the required network, most probably your problem is now solved.

Call your ISP:- Sometimes there is a problem from the end of your Internet Service Provider, try to call them and explain your situation they might give you a perfect solution.

7) Mobile Data not Working on Vivo Y91

Take out Sim:- If your mobile data is not working then try removing the sim card from your device and keep it aside for some minutes after then insert it again and start your device. Now try to turn on the Mobile data, hopefully, it would be working.

Airplane Mode:- Try to turn the Airplane mode on your device for some minutes and close all the background running apps. After some minutes turn off the Airplane mode and now again try to turn on Mobile data. Most probably your mobile data will start working after this.

Call customer care:- Now, even after performing the above two steps, your mobile data is not working then try to make contact with your Sim provider and explain your issue to them.

8) Apps not downloading from Play Store on Vivo Y91

Restart your device:- Try to switch off your device or remove the battery from your device for some minutes. After some minutes insert the battery again and switch on your device. Now, try to download any App and hopefully this time the app would start working.

Sign out and Sign in:- Open the Google Play Store and log out your current Gmail id from it and now again add some other Gmail Id and if the apps are downloading from other Gmail account then most probably you have messed up with Google Play Store policies. Make a new Gmail account and use it to login in the Google Play Store.

Clear cache memory:- Try to clean the cache memory from your device. You can do so by going to the Settings>Storage>Cache Memory or you can try apps like Nox Cleaner to remove all the junk and cache files. Most probably after performing this, your problem would solve.

9) Micro-SD Card Problem

Ejecting SD Card:- If you are facing SD Card related issue like your SD Card is not getting recognized by device then you can try ejecting your device by going to mobile’s Settings >> Storage >> SD Card > Eject. Now after few minutes inject the card again. Hopefully, it will fix your problem.

Erase Some Data:- If you are getting an error of storage issue then try to remove the cache memory first from your device. You can do it by going to Settings >> Storage >> Cache Memory. If the problem still exists then try to remove the unwanted files from your SD card.

Scan your Card:- If you are facing issues like slow transfer speed and unexpected behavior by SD card then try to eject your card and insert it in some card reader and then connect the card reader to your PC or Laptop and then with the help of antivirus scan the card in PC and after the scan inject the card back in your device.
